Dear Ana,
I'm glad you decided to put your trip to Ashraf into words, though I know it can be quite difficult to explain what one witnesses in Ashraf. In 1980, in a letter to Massoud Rajavi, Ashraf Rajavi (who the city Ashraf is named after) wrote, "I don't think there are the correct words in any culture that can describe what is taking place here. I think we need to create a new culture." and this is exactly what those in Ashraf have done. They have taken the meaning behind human values to a new level. They are not people without names in fact to us, they are name which are eternal and will never be forgotten. Those like the two girls you mentioned which I assume are elham and sahar! two very dear friends of mine which I will never forget and cherish dearly as do many of the supporters of the PMOI in the States and Canada, the people in Ashraf have a special place in our hearts and that is something no tyrant or dictator can take away and is a feeling so strong that the appeasers in the west can never over shadow. We will defend Ashraf residence at whatever cost, because they have given their everything for the Iranian people.

This is a very refreshing article and thank you for writing this very fine article. It is really encouraging to see how the brave Iranian Mojahedin members in Ashraf city have made this bulwark and buffer against the expansion of brutal Islamic fundamentalism. I am sure that although their struggle has been an uphil task and up to 120,000 of the bravest children of Iran have sacrificed their lives to attain freedom but victory is undoubtedly very near.

Once again many thanks for this very good article

Hi, Dear Ana,

What a beautiful story. Really... It's so nice to read a story from somebody, who's not an Iranian, and who visited Ashraf.

I am a boy of 17 year old, and live in Europe. I am a kid of the PMOI, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran. My father is more than 20 years member of the PMOI and in Ashraf City, and i am proud of that!

We, the Iranian youths, support and help our resistance in Europe, and the countries in Europe.

Thanks for youre nice and very beautiful story! i hope to see more stories about youre trip and ashraf city!

bye bye
